Jersey United ASL U15 boys win the Virgina Beach Classic Tournament. The boys went undefeated all weekend, taking first place in the tournament's top flight. Only one goal given up (Penalty Kick) and seven goals scored over four games highlight what an impressive tournament performance it was.
Coach Morris said, "I was so happy with the effort put in from every player and really enjoyed seeing us move the ball around the field."
"I've been telling the boys to view pressure as a good thing and it appears they were enjoying all the pressures that came their way this weekend. Playing in tight spaces along with holding their nerve during key game moments were both great examples of this. The first place finish was fully deserved and I do hope the boys will take great confidence from these games as we move into the spring season."
